To support ongoing projects and improve the efficiency of content and design delivery, Gold Standard seeks a Design and Digital Communications Consultant to assist with graphic design, content management, and the enhancement of communication assets across various digital platforms.

The objective of this consultancy is to provide specialised, task-based support in marketing tools management, content publishing, and design enhancement to strengthen Gold Standard's communications outputs.

Main Activities:

  • Content Management and Publishing
  • Support the upload, management, and updating of content across:
  • Gold Standard websites and digital publications (GS4GG and GS websites)
  • Email communications (Mailchimp)
  • Internal communications assets (Microsoft 365 intranet)
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all platforms.
  • Design and Visual Support
  • Assist in graphic design tasks and visual content creation
  • Contribute to the enhancement of communication materials, including presentations, leaflets, and reports
  • Support in photo editing and visual research to ensure brand consistency

Deliverables Deliverables will be agreed upon per task or assignment. Examples include:

  • Updated or newly published web pages or digital publications
  • Formatted and branded PowerPoint presentations or reports
  • Designed graphics, leaflets, or visuals for campaigns
  • Edited and approved images for use in digital and print materials

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design and content management
  • Strong understanding of brand identity and visual consistency
  • Interest in climate change, environmental markets, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) desirable
  • Proficiency in English required (other languages are a plus)
  • Candidates must be registered as independent contractors with a VAT or tax identification number

Technical Tools and Platforms

Knowledge and familiarity with the following tools and platforms is required:

  • Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Figma for collaborative design and layout development
  • Mailchimp for newsletters and announcements
  • Microsoft 365 tools (especially PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (plus)
  • Adobe Suite for graphic design (plus)
  • HTML and CSS (plus)

Payment Terms

The Consultant will work for one day a week for Gold Standard, with more work possible during busy periods. The Consultant will invoice Gold Standard on a monthly basis, specifying deliverables. The Consultant must operate as an independent contractor and provide valid invoices.
