At Meteomatics, we're a team of proud nerds who deliver the most accurate weather data to over 400 companies and research institutions worldwide, helping them accelerate the energy transition, reduce the business' impact on the environment, and make products and services safer for society.

Your responsibilities
  • Develop, design and enhance state-of-the-art PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) for our products, including schematics, layout, and commissioning

  • Develop testing equipment to ensure rigorous quality control

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., EASA/FAA, DO-160, DO-254) and relevant electrical engineering standards and norms (e.g., IEC, ISO, IEEE)

  • Participate in prototype assembly, integration, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software and systems engineering).

  • Contribute to test campaigns, data analysis, and reporting.

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Your qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, or proven work experience that demonstrates your expertise

  • Experience in developing and testing PCBs, with a strong understanding of industry best practices

  • Basic knowledge of relevant regulations, norms and standards is a plus.

  • Programming skills in languages such as C/C++ would be a fantastic asset

  • Hands-on experience in using ECAD software and tools for PCB design (Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, KiCAD,...) desired

  • Enthusiastic to learn, detail-oriented, and eager to work in an innovative environment

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team

  • Fluent in English (German is an advantage).
