In this role, you will lead our M&A efforts to success and play an important role in expanding Sanoptis' presence in multiple European markets. Buy-side driven, you will accelerate our M&A lifecycle. Your negotiation-savvy personality, combined with strong communication skills, will represent us as an excellent partner at the table. Your ambition for strategic and operational excellence will lead us to new levels.

In this role, you will
Lead our strategy development: Develop our M&A strategy, including the identification of acquisition and partnership opportunities, as well as strategies for transactions. You will execute market studies and market-entry strategies, contributing to our overall business development. Manage M&A processes & deals: You will conceptualize and manage internal M&A processes such as scouting, the entire due diligence process, valuation, and post-merger integration, as well as the systematic search, identification, and proactive initial contact of potential targets for M&A or partnering. Oversee legal: Manage the legal aspects of M&A transactions, working closely with external legal counsel to ensure compliance and to mitigate potential legal risks. Take care of financial modeling and reporting: Closely support the creation and ongoing review of financial models. Further, you will prepare reports on the progress of M&A projects for C-level management and the board of directors to ensure compliance with financial and strategic goals. Network: Leverage your network in the investment industry to identify new opportunities. You will travel frequently to locations and potential targets.

A dedicated and qualified M&A team in multiple countries (Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and others).Senior employees and executives at Sanoptis, including the Chief Development Officer (Carsten Horn).Sanoptis Management Board & C-level.External parties, such as lawyers, banks, and service providers.Renowned physicians, including some of the leading experts and pioneers in the field of ophthalmology.
Your profile includes
Extensive work experience in M&A and/or transaction services (e.g., in investment banking, private equity, or the "Big Four"), or significant experience as a lawyer specializing in M&A transactions – ideally with experience in healthcare. A passion for dealmaking and the ambition to drive the company's growth with an entrepreneurial mindset.The willingness to dive in and create strategic as well as operational excellence within Sanoptis' M&A activities. You have a strong hands-on mentality and solve challenges practically and with a focus on results. A solid understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape relevant to M&A transactions. A proven track record of delivering outstanding performance in a fast-paced environment and the ability to create, present, and communicate business and financial analysis at the executive level. You achieve these results by leveraging your extensive knowledge in financial analysis and company valuation, as well as your strong analytical and conceptual skills. This includes a strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. An assertive, negotiation-savvy personality with strong communication skills. High stress tolerance and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Excellent English skills (Level C1 or above); other language skills (such as German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Czech, or others) are a plus.A high willingness to travel.
