Manufacturing Line Specialist

As a Manufacturing Line Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and compliant production processes. From planning and engineering phases to active production campaigns, you will contribute to maintaining technical standards, operational efficiency, and safety across all manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project planning and engineering phases to ensure technical requirements are met and production campaigns run successfully.
  • Provide organizational and technical support during production campaigns, including monitoring operations outside regular working hours.
  • Prepare cGMP-compliant documentation in collaboration with team leads, R&D, and process technologists.
  • Train and instruct operators on equipment and production-specific procedures during campaigns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to operating procedures and manufacturing protocols, intervening in case of deviations.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange within the operations team.
  • Drive continuous improvement of equipment, workflows, and processes using methodologies such as 6S, Lean Six Sigma, and KAIZEN, while maintaining safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality standards.

Must-Haves

  • Completed technical education or training (apprenticeship, advanced certification, Bachelor, or Master degree).
  • Ideally, experience in production of chemical, biotechnological, or food industry products.
  • Preferably, initial exposure to ISO and/or GMP production environments.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with digital systems and applications.
  • Excellent German language skills (spoken and written) and good English proficiency.
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties.
