Role Description:

The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in establishing, managing, and scaling a new project within the organization. This position combines strategic leadership with operational excellence to ensure smooth execution, efficient resource management, and sustainable growth. As part of a hybrid work model, the Director of Operations will oversee daily operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and implement processes that align with long-term business goals.

This role involves designing operational frameworks, setting performance objectives, and ensuring that all project activities are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Director of Operations will manage key business functions—including planning, finance, procurement, logistics, and human resources coordination—while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. They will collaborate closely with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable operational plans, monitor KPIs, and identify areas for optimization.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished operations leader with strong strategic insight and hands-on management experience. They possess excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to balance structure with flexibility in a dynamic environment. This role requires strong communication and leadership abilities to inspire teams, drive collaboration, and ensure that operational execution supports overall business success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations management, project leadership, or business transformation roles.
  • Proven track record in building and managing efficient operational systems and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in hybrid work environments, balancing in-person and remote team management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and ERP or CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a results-driven approach to managing new or evolving projects.
