Role Summary
Job Description - System Architect - Zurich

  • Responsible for maintaining information about Configuration Items (CIs) required to deliver an IT service, including their relationships.

Job Description

  • More than 10 years of hands-on experience with designing solutions using Java and Oracle Technologies
  • Deep knowledge in integration architecture pattern and application landscape patterns
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape the business vision/architecture, and to establish high-level solution intent (aka blueprint) incl. roadmap, information models, documentation requirements and dependencies
  • Responsible for the architectural design within a defined scope (e.g.: domain)
  • Define subsystems and their interfaces
  • Plan and develop the architectural runway for his systems in support of new business features and capabilities (incl. technical vision, blueprint and technical designs support)
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and sustainability of the system
  • Responsible to prepare options and request exceptions (if required)
  • Support the definition of NFRs together with the PM/POs and ensure they are implemented accordingly
  • Responsible for application lifecycle and overall reduction of architecture debt
  • Act as an enabler to architecture roadmap process and high-level objectives
  • Identify risks regarding the deviation of standards and innovation and collaborate with discipline architects to address them
  • Work with portfolio and ART stakeholders, customers and suppliers to align the architectural direction
  • Work with suppliers, making sure the technical characteristics for supplier-delivered capabilities are understood and assisting with the architectural integration of these concerns

  • Good understanding and experience in business architecture, analysis and requirements engineering
  • Relevant higher educational and professional background
