We are looking for, as soon as possible, for our headquarters in Aarau or Prilly a Application Specialist % Ensuring electricity in Switzerland As an Application Specialist at Swissgrid, you ensure that our applications run smoothly - safely, stably, and efficiently. In this versatile role, you take responsibility for the operation, further development, and supplier management of our real-time and SCADA applications. You thus make an important contribution to the stability of our IT landscape. You are responsible for the following tasks:Ensuring trouble-free operation of the SCADA applications and coordinating support partners in case of disruptions Monitoring and optimizing application performance regarding availability, recoverability, performance, and costs Responsibility for operational supplier management as well as support with service contracts and external support services Ensuring application security against cyber threats Maintaining and updating operational documentation (manuals, instructions, diagrams, etc.) Supporting risk, incident, and problem management Contributing to the further development of applications including release management and testing Independently implementing technical tasks in transformation projects and supporting larger initiatives Requirements2-3 years in Application Lifecycle Management, SCADA focus. Strong IT security knowledge, especially in cyber-security.
