Proposition Manager – Dutch Market (m/f/d)

The Proposition Manager supports correct and consistent flow of business for Zurich Eurolife S.A. In your role you will work with the business functions and act as the first point of contact for enquiries and issue resolutions. In doing so, you will propose creative/different solutions to meet client needs. Furthermore the role includes governance support for the propositions function and maintenance of products and their documentation.

Your role

  • Acting as the proposition owner of selected product lines within the existing portfolio of products
  • Managing medium to large projects to maintain and improve the quality of the in-force business portfolio and/or projects aiming extension of existing product coverage
  • Coordinating the delivery of agreed actions with other internal functions based in Luxembourg or other locations of Zurich (including but not limited to interactions with Distribution team, Client Servicing, IT, Legal and Compliance as well as with various external stakeholders (such as external lawyers and tax consultants)
  • Provide active support to Distribution in support of both growth and profitability objectives
  • Being the interface with marketing for maintenance and creation of client documentation
  • Delivering the internal training and communication to affected functions when new products are launched or acceptance principles change
  • Collaboration in tenders to ensure suitability of proposition features

Your skills and experience

  • Fluent in English and Dutch is mandatory, any other language would be an asset
  • 3-5 years' work experience within the product development in Dutch insurance market/ finance industry, ideally with focus on Dutch Group Life and Disability insurance sector
  • A university degree (bachelor level) or a higher professional education
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. MS Word and MS Excel)
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work accurately and to deadlines
  • Constructive approach to dealing with internal and external customers
