Pharmaceutical Artwork Specialist

C&C Life Sciences is supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in the Basel area to hire a Pharmaceutical Artwork Specialist.

You will manage the full artwork lifecycle for packaging materials produced by external partners, acting as a key coordinator between internal teams (Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs) and external Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). Your work will ensure all packaging components are developed, reviewed, and delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the full lifecycle of externally developed packaging artwork.
  • Coordinate artwork creation, updates, and approvals with internal and external stakeholders, including CMOs and artwork agencies.
  • Track change requests and ensure timely implementation across all packaging components.
  • Support product launches, technical transfers, and regulatory-driven artwork changes.
  • Perform initial formatting and proofreading checks using approved tools.
  • Maintain and organize artwork master data and documentation records.
  • Oversee phase-out of outdated packaging materials.
  • Prepare artwork-related documentation for regulatory submissions.
  • Contribute to SOPs, process updates, and internal training related to artwork management.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops on artwork procedures and systems.

Your Profile

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coordination and documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical artwork or packaging processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and open-minded team player.
  • Customer-focused with clear communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma
  • Experience in artwork, packaging, or administrative coordination roles (pharma or FMCG preferred) - Must have requirement
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of artwork or design software is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as French or German are a plus.
