The role within the Advanced Synthesis Platform was tailored to aid a growth initiative at the Visp , Switzerland site. It presents an engaging prospect to participate in setting up and launching a new facility, catering to a diverse customer base.
API Support for Early Phase Development | Lonza
Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.
Key responsibilities:Aid in the advancement and establishment of procedures and processes in the Early Phase Expansion.
Support the establishment of new laboratories, including User Requirements Specifications (URS).
Collect, summarize, and analyze data to prepare reports and presentations.
Provide on-the-job training and support to new team members.
Address scientific challenges within R&D and make meaningful contributions to the scientific domain or methodology.
Demonstrate scientific and technical leadership at the project level.
Participate in customer meetings and develop strong customer relationships.
Evaluate and implement trends and innovations in the area of expertise.
Supervise lab professionals to ensure flawless execution of tasks.
Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; a Master's degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Practical experience in chemical process development and utilization of fundamental analytical methods like HPLC and NMR.
Passion for working in a chemical laboratory with an interest in laboratory automation and data analysis.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with precision and reliability.
Strong teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation.
Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is advantageous.
Proficiency in English is necessary; knowledge of German or willingness to learn German is required.
