THE ROLE

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Compliance Officer
to join our team in Geneva, Switzerland. The role offers exposure to an international environment and the opportunity to develop within a collaborative team. The successful candidate will report to the Group Head of Compliance & Head of Compliance Switzerland and will work closely with our local Compliance Officer and the wider international compliance team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist with the onboarding of new business

· Review and approve FATCA & CRS classifications

· Review and approve High-Risk transactions on a quarterly basis

· Assist with internal audit on a quarterly basis  and external audits

· Assist with the Annual High-Risk reviews

· Assist with third-party requests from banks, etc.

· Assist with AML and compliance training for staff

· Update KYC pack for Group signatories

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Higher education institution or commercial apprenticeship diploma

· Ideally 1-2 year experience in a finance, compliance or legal environment

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills along with French, other languages a plus

· Swiss AML/regulatory framework, FATCA/CRS knowledge a plus

· Extensive experience and ease in the use of IT packages including MS Office

· Exceptional organisation skills with a fine attention to detail and accuracy

· Team player
