Position Summary

We are seeking a Global Media Relations Manager to develop and implement PR activities designed to inform external stakeholders about the company's operations. The role involves creating content that explains the company's strategy, purpose, and performance, with the aim of shaping public perception and maintaining the company's reputation within the coffee industry.

A Day in the Life of a Global Media Relations Manager

• Develop and coordinate impactful global media relations strategies and campaigns
• Maintain strong relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 Swiss and international media
• Manage media lists and contacts effectively
• Determine a calendar of communications opportunities to proactively promote our corporate brand
• Ensure robust media monitoring and measurement, assessing performance and providing overviews
• Manage media relations for Nespresso's three production centers
• Support markets in managing media relations through guidelines and training
• Prepare and advise spokespeople for media activities, developing storylines and messages

What will make you successful

• Study background in media relations, corporate communications, or a related field
• Strong experience in PR, communications, media relations, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Understanding of the Swiss media landscape and the global tier 1 media
• Strong understanding of online communication, websites, and social media
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment with multiple stakeholders and senior stakeholders
• Interest in sustainability is a plus
• Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus
