The International Finance & Controlling Graduate Program:

Lindt & Sprüngli offers a 24-months global graduate program in three different CFO-departments of Lindt & Sprüngli subsidiaries (3 x 8-months rotations) as kick-start to your career in Finance & Controlling. Graduating from this program, you will have a holistic view on the Finance department of a multinational FMCG company, including various functional areas such as Sales-, Marketing- or Operations Controlling and insights to Accounting.

With this program, we aim to develop top-talents, who are looking for ambitious next steps in their careers and after successful completion of the program are willing to bring their expertise to practice in international assignments within the Group.

Each Lindt & Sprüngli subsidiary has their own CFO-department, collaborating closely with the local Sales-, Marketing- and Operations-organizations. As graduate, you will be part of three of these local Finance teams over the course of the graduate program. Two rotations will take place in our distribution subsidiaries and one rotation in a production subsidiary.

DURING THE PROGRAM YOU WILL GAIN VALUABLE EXPERIENCE IN

• Financial Analysis: Gathering data and providing the right recommendations
• Financial Planning and Forecasting: Steering and performance management
• Management- and Financial Reporting: Internal and external reporting requirements
• Operations Controlling: Understanding the financials behind the Lindt factories and products
• Investment Controlling: Understanding investment requests and investment management
• Accounting: Insights to the ERP infrastructure and periodic closing processes
• Data Governance: Understand how to ensure data quality
• Projects: ERP/ tool implementations or other Finance-related projects

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading university with specialization in Finance/Controlling/Accounting or CMA, ICMA, CPA, CFA or equivalent qualification
• Min. half a year relevant Finance experience (internship, extracurricular activities etc.)
• Proficiency in English and ideally another language (German, French, Italian)
• Solid Finance and accounting background (see qualifications above)
• Strategy and business focus by understanding the business, providing decision-support and generating suitable recommendations
• Risk and control knowhow, as well as strong work ethics
• Technology and data affinity, going along with strong analytical skills to win beneficial insights from data
• Drive for results, by monitoring progress, meeting deadlines and interacting with stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial spirit, taking ownership and striving for excellence in execution with a proactive attitude
• Team-player attitude, building positive work relationships and working across functional boundaries
• Comfortable in an international environment and geographically mobile and flexible (also after the graduate program)
