Your role

Do you want to design and build next generation business applications using the latest technologies? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally?

We're looking for software engineers to:

  • design and implement highly scalable system capabilities centered around Java-based APIs
  • integrate our applications on Azure cloud
  • troubleshoot and resolve any production issues in a timely manner
  • participate in release weekend activities, including deployment and testing of new software releases
  • engineer streamlined solutions that reduce complexity, address technical debt, and support cloud adoption
  • enhance our DevOps landscape through the development of highly automated quality assurance, build, and deployment toolchains
  • collaborate with team members across different locations to ensure swift and effective delivery
  • actively share your knowledge and expertise contributing to our engineering practices

Your team

You'll be working in CDIO WMPC team in Switzerland to support Product and Document Suitability Rule Engine Service. We provide software capability services to business divisions of the UBS group. Together as a team, we provide solutions to unique business/market requirements in line with the established Corporate IT Standards. As a Software Developer, you'll play an important role in software delivery adhering the standard for business benefits.

Your expertise

  • minimally 5+ years of experience in software development
  • proficiency in Java 11+, SpringBoot, SOAP, REST, OAuth2, Reactive programming
  • hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
  • possess 2+ years Oracle / PostgreSQL development experience
