Pictet has had an office in Zurich since 1982 and currently employs more than 200 people there. The Zurich office is located in the Leuenhof, one of the most iconic buildings on the prestigious Bahnhofstrasse.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Team Reception for the Zurich and Basel offices to join the Client Hospitality department of the Pictet Group's Corporate Services division.

Your role

As Head of Reception for the Zurich and Basel offices you and your team will be the first point of contact for our international clientele. You will provide a first-class service and maintain absolute discretion.

As such, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of receptionists and food & beverage team of 9 people. Providing guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Ensuring the reception area operates seamlessly in a welcoming environment for the Group's UHNW and institutional clients, Pictet senior management as well as our Managing Partners.
  • Overseeing food and beverage services maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meeting requests, operating the switchboard in German, Swiss German and English.
  • Working closely with other departments: Assisting in organising events for clients, ensuring all aspects of the reception and hospitality services are aligned with the Group's standards.
  • Developing and implementing reception policies and procedures to continually enhance the client experience and improve operational efficiency.
Your profile
  • Possess over 10 years of experience in a front office role within the luxury hotel industry or a service-oriented company, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leadership and team management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues across all levels.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proven capacity to navigate challenging situations with composure and confidence.
  • Exemplifies a professional and polished demeanor, embodying the values and image of the Group.
  • Native Swiss German speaker with fluency in German and English; proficiency in French is considered an asset.
