About The Role
Our Audit team is critical to our business. They are independent and work closely with Risk and Compliance to ensure risk management and compliance processes are running efficiently.

We're looking for a Head of Internal Audit who has experience auditing fintechs, banks, or has worked in risk or compliance roles.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and executing audit programmes under internal audit policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
• Conducting comprehensive audits, from planning and fieldwork to testing, identifying control gaps, and documenting findings
• Producing clear, concise, and impactful audit reports to the Audit Committee and management, detailing findings, root causes, associated risks, and practical recommendations
• Seeking ways to make the best use of data as part of our audit process, including to inform our understanding of risks, test controls, and provide relevant insights to the business
• Providing input and assistance in the identification of relevant regulatory requirements to implement
• Interacting with senior management and staff to obtain an understanding of relevant risks, controls, and processes
• Developing audit reports which identify deficiencies and underlying root causes, and providing recommendations to mitigate/address deficiencies while adding value
• Defining staff requirements, and building a local team of internal auditors

What You'll Need

• 8+ years of professional experience in an audit related-role within a regulated financial services environment
• Experience in banking, security trade, payments, operations, risk, finance, and/or treasury processes
• Deep knowledge of systems and controls within EMI/retail banking businesses for managing prudential (credit, market, liquidity, operational) and conduct risks
• An excellent understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in Switzerland
• Expertise working with and interpreting data with SQL, SAS, Python, or R
• Extensive audit experience in risk assessment, process and control review, implementation, and advice

Nice to have

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution
• An ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
