Job Description

As a
USP Bioprocess Engineer
, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and implementing systems that increase efficiency and optimize all stages of service or production — from design to manufacturing. You will oversee process design projects, ensuring safe and efficient operation while maintaining alignment with budgetary constraints. Your work will directly contribute to improving process performance, sustainability, and overall business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and implement systems to optimize production and service processes from design to manufacturing
  • Oversee process design projects and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations
  • Design processes and equipment for the development and commercialization of products or services within budgetary limits
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to boost productivity, quality, and profitability
  • Configure manufacturing systems to reduce costs and enhance sustainability
  • Implement process methods and designs, create prototypes, perform testing, and make necessary modifications
  • Develop best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within production processes

Essential Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in process or manufacturing engineering
  • Strong understanding of process design, system optimization, and operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in evaluating and improving existing production systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Language: English required; German is a plus
