We are currently looking for an SAP Consultant (SAP-LO-VC/SAP iPPE), for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry, for a long-term project.

The role is a contract position, starting in January 2026 through to November 2026 with possibility of further extension.

Client in based in Zurich, looking for 3 days per week on-site.

Level: Senior

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data modeling for variant configurators (SAP LO-VC and iPPE).
  • Develop models within development projects and represent them as product structures (PSM-VC) in iQuavis using relationship knowledge.
  • Create, evaluate, and test maximum BOMs (Bills of Materials) and work plans in close collaboration with specialist departments in SAP iPPE.
  • Maintain low-level relationship knowledge.
  • Act as the business contact person for VC configurators.
  • Maintain, support, and further develop the SAP configurator landscape in SAP ECC.

Skills:

  • Professional or expert level (expert preferred).
  • Strong understanding of product functionality and variant configuration.
  • Ability to think conceptually and connect dots.
  • Knowledge of how products are built (complex assemblies).
  • Experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders and translating them into tools for simulation and understanding.
  • Industrial background with project work experience.
  • Analytical mindset for simulations and managing complexity.
  • Prior experience with variant configurations (highlight in CV).
  • Familiarity with
    Product Line Methodology
    (buzzword).
  • Mechanical or PLM/systems engineering background is acceptable.
