Finance and Risk Operations Specialist

Our Finance & Risk division is seeking a proactive Operations Specialist to support the Bank's financial and risk-related functions in Zurich.
As part of an experienced and dedicated team, you will contribute to key responsibilities such as financial analytics, performance measurement, and managing budgeting and forecasting cycles.
What would your role be?
- Work closely with the Finance & Risk Controlling supporting the "month-end closing" finance process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and reports.
- Participate in generating and distributing financial and management reports in a timely manner.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
What are we looking for?
- University degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or similar applied quantitative sciences with a maximum of 2 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Young professional with distinct service / customer orientation and able to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with results-oriented mind-set.
- Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Project management skills are a plus.
- Willing to take full ownership of your work and engage in a changing and flexible environment, with the ability to question the status quo and take feedback.
- Excellent written & spoken English and German
