Your role

In the role of a Lead Consultant – Controls OT you will anchor the engagement effort for complex project execution assignments and take an active role to execute development projects for control system solutions for our clients. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. You consider customer and market requirements and ensure project progress in regards of efficient integration of new products and technologies. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building and support introduction of new technology and know-how transfer into Controls OT / IoT organization.

Required

  • Extensive years of experience in Control System engineering, SW development for closed loop control, signal processing, Control Dynamics & Simulations and Verification & Validation
  • Process Control and/or automation of thermal plants and turbomachines / gas turbines in power plant applications
  • Experience with MATLAB-Simulink and/or other real time simulator
  • Knowledge in oversight of control system policies and procedures
  • Good analytical skills with creative, solution-focused approach

Preferred

  • Good technical knowledge in the areas of common used control system technologies and programming
  • e.g. ABB Advant, AC800/800xA, GE MARK VIe, Emerson Ovation, Siemens PCS or equivalent
  • Experience in technical project management for execution and/or development of Controls projects
  • Knowledge in fieldbus systems, industrial network, control architectures and related IT infrastructure
  • Software development skills (C++/C#, SQL, Java, Python)
  • Good knowledge of industrial Safety principles and OT security
