mimic robotics is an early stage deep tech robotics & AI start-up based in Zurich and supported by leading VCs. We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labor tasks and mitigate labor shortages with a versatile automation platform. The Role
As part of the wearables team, you will drive the development, prototyping, and testing of our next-generation wearable sensing solutions. You will work closely with both the wearables and AI teams, pushing our hardware to its limits while gaining hands-on exposure to a fast-paced startup in the rapidly evolving generative-AI and humanoid-robotics space. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the potential for extension.
Requirements
Proficiency in at least several of the following technical topics: Mechanical CAD, Electronics CAD, 3D printing, embedded software development in C/C++, digital and analog sensing, data analysis in PythonHigh attention to detail and ability to grasp concepts within a broad context including impacts on robotics and AIExcellent academic track recordHigh motivation and problem-solving abilityCapable of both working independently and collaborating in a teamFluent English speakerProven experience in hands-on prototyping of mechanical devices and/or sensing electronics
