We're hiring: Chief Underwriting Officer (Dublin)

20Twenty Search has been exclusively retained to appoint a Chief Underwriting Officer for a fast-growing specialty platform.

This is a senior, hands-on role for an entrepreneurial underwriting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, build-out environment. Working closely with the CEO, the CUO will shape underwriting appetite, strategy and reinsurance approach as the business scales across specialty lines.

The role will suit someone with:

  • Broad European/International specialty underwriting experience
  • Strong reinsurance and portfolio management capability
  • Deep understanding of MGA models and delegated authority oversight
  • Commercial instinct and business development acumen
  • A practical, sleeves-rolled-up mindset

This is a leadership role for someone who wants to build, not just oversee.

London Market Lloyd's & Specialty experience would be highly preferred.
