Research Associate – Antibody Discovery
Role and Responsibilities:
- Performing the screening of human antibodies for the different preclinical discovery programs.
- Cultivation and manipulation of mammalian cells.
- Operating different liquid handlers and robotic systems.
- Initial characterization of antibody candidates.
- Documenting and reporting the results to the team.
- Supporting the antibody cloning, production and characterization activities.
- The candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.
Requirements:
- BSc or training as laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent degree in biological sciences.
- Good practice in the handling and cultivation of eukaryotic cells.
- Experience with immunological (ELISA, Western Blotting) and biophysical techniques (SPR, BLI).
- Additional experience with laboratory biology techniques such as cloning, and protein expression would be advantageous.
- Well organized, self-motivated, ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a focus on deliverables.
