Make it your story.**: **This position reports to**: Senior Project Finance Manager **Your role and responsibilities**: As a Global Early Talent Program in Finance participant, you will get hands-on responsibility from the start. The exceptional people you work with, the challenging projects you tackle, and the global scale of our business will give the experience you need to build a world-class career in finance. The program is made up of three assignments in different roles.. 1) One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business. 2) One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network. 3) One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function. During the program we will take the participants on a leadership competency development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Industries division. Depending on the assignment role you will be in, most common responsibility can include tasks within Operational (Accounting and Reporting), Strategic Controlling, Branch Office and Contract Management such as: - Project Controlling activities, with the focus to sales support and "order entry process"; e.g. attending handover meetings, booking process, full cost model reconciliation, order entry checklist, project setup; Support/participation on project review preparation (cost, revenues, cash, etc.); attend project reviews, implementation of changes. - Business Model selection; during bid phase, ensure that the most suitable business model is selected for the opportunity under bidding and related costs included in the price model. - Branch Management; perform periodic duties on assigned branches (e.g. tax declarations, cost accrual, payments, etc.) - Introduction into Contract and Risk Management with focus on Sales commercial contract aspects such as full cost model, price escalations, payment, taxes, insurances, etc. We support and inspire you to step out of your comfort zone to develop your leadership and management skills as well as your communication skills. **Qualifications for the role**: - You are a recent graduate (preferably Master’s level) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields - You may have professional experience in the finance function - You master the English language, other languages are a plus - You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing - You are curious, resilient and open to new ideas - You’re eligible to work in Switzerland **More about us**:
