**Purpose of Position**:The main components of this role are:

- Develop and deliver, programs to support the strategic direction for the safety portfolio, ensuring long term sustainability as well as short
- and medium-term financial plan achievement in liaison with Region and BU VPs, Sales Directors and C-Suite.
- Create, outline, and manage long-term goals according to the safety vision in conjunction with the Director of Products and CTO into the ONE Platform. “Roadmap Design”.
- Produce and deliver optimally the safety portfolio roadmap, ensuring efficiency and quality. “Roadmap Delivery”.
- Implement constant inter-portfolios integration towards the life of mine vision, ensuring the endurability of the product line future aligned with the market needs, competition, and technology trends. “Cross-Portfolios, Partner Integrations”.
- Develop and manage project justifications to guarantee uninterrupted delivery to market of portfolio value. “Create Long Term Projects, Roadmap”.
- Analyze marketplace to develop commercial strategies for new markets and go to market campaign for new product line launches. “New Products Commercial Strategy”.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:The duties and responsibilities of the position are divided across 3 functional pillars as described below:
**Technology**:

- Organize the portfolio roadmap and activities aligned with the mission and goal of Hexagon.
- Formulate technical and business strategy for the portfolio success in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Develop projects funding proposals and ensure projects funding through the PSC, maximizing projects ROI.
- Assess and prioritize the technology initiatives to maximize resources usage, mid-term business achievements and long-term sustainability.
- Develop and coordinate with C-Suite and relevant stakeholder’s competitive intelligence and business/technical plan for the sales plays to overcome competition.
- Continuously monitor the technology landscape and define with the product development team strategy to maintain the product viability and industry leading solutions.
- Coordinate cross-project activities in the overall universe of Hexagon available technologies that brings value to portfolio and develop synergies to deliver industry leading products and improvements.
- Manage the overall portfolios product roadmaps and identify areas ahead or behind schedule and work with the team to implement mitigation strategies.

**Processes**:

- Produce accurate performance metrics for timely reporting of projects status throughout its life cycle.
- Develop the evaluation method to assess portfolio strengths and identify areas of improvements that ensure project goals are achieved.
- Analyze project risks to implement and manage changes and interventions that provides insight to resolve projects higher scope issues.
- Define the functional strategy to develop the project justifications and business plans for projects ensuring continuous monitoring on schedule and performance KPIs.
- Provide guidelines developed with CTO to ensure cross functionalities and optimal re-use of active development initiatives across portfolios.
- Manage product management to ensure goals are met in areas such the PD, QA and services including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance.
- Manage the strategy for product technical documentation creation and knowledge transfer to sales, services/support, and external stakeholders.
- Indirectly endorse with the PLA team to follow the strategy to ensure on time to market deliverables across certification, creation, and distribution.
- Develop a significant customer engagement process to develop long term relationships that lead to product line and commercial expansion.
**People**:

- Manage a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
- Transmit, nurture, and communicate the vision and roadmap across key stakeholders within the Mining business unit and crucial external stakeholders.
- Continuously nurture the customer engagement across the portfolio members to inseminate the customer pain and needs into portfolio culture.
- Lead the product management team to act as liaison with stakeholders on product issues and feature requests to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Continuously meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding issues and decisions to ensure strategic direction is followed.
- Develop and sustain the product management resources aligned to organization needs.
