Procurement Process Excellence Lead

Responsibilities: - Responsible for managing activities related to the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment and services - Develops and implements policies, procedures, and control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions - Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers - Develops and maintains procurement analysis for key materials detailing price and supply trends, market trends and future purchasing strategy - Leads materials cost reduction activities and communicates cost savings philosophy to staff - Serves as primary management contact and coordinates activities with internal stakeholders to address operational issues - Manages relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods/services - Improves systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service - Monitors and enforces compliance to the Global Sourcing and Procurement Policy Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, or technical field relevant to CSL products; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred - 8+ years' experience in procurement/purchasing including 2+ years' experience leading a procurement team - Purchasing Management Certification (ISM/CPM, CIPS) - Demonstrated success in complex contract negotiations
