Director Global Head Procurement Excellence

The objective with this role is to act as a focal point, own and drive, Global Procurement’s work towards Procurement excellence across Processes, Systems, Templates, Change Management etc.

In this role, you are owning the change agenda, driven through the Transformation Plan. The transformation towards excellence will be driven by this role, in close collaboration with peers in Global Procurement as well as CSL wide and external partners and stakeholders. The scope of this role encompasses the end-to-end processes across Procurement, including collaboration with functions like Legal and Finance, that starts with a need identification, through contract management and ends with a paid invoice.

You are responsible for stakeholder engagement, the position holder will lead a team of two Procurement professionals to ensure continued Service Reliability, Quality Improvements, Supplier Innovation, and Product Safety across CSL’s procurement organization as well as outside procurement.

Furthermore, you are responsible for the management and development of the externalized Procurement Center of Excellence.

In order to ensure progress, you are responsible for setting up a function wide KPI structure and work with operational excellence to keep it relevant. The measurement and reporting will be done through the Global Analytics and Reporting function within Strategy & Excellence.

One of the main targets for this role is to, actively, drive standardization and optimization across all aspects of Global procurement. The role will act as the change agent and bring in external perspectives, influence peers and stakeholders and drive the actions towards procurement excellence.

Responsible for development and execution of the Global Procurement Transformation plan which includes systems, processes and CoE development

**Role and Responsibilities**

**Build, implement and manage the Procurement Transformation Plan**
- Drive, in collaboration with the PLT and EPLT, the Global Procurement Transformation Plan across all processes, change management, systems and templates with a clear focus on standardization and automation.
- Own the implementation of the detailed action plans resulting from the Transformation plan in collaboration with peers and stakeholders within as well as outside Global Procurement
- Identify, develop and implement procurement operational excellence initiatives as a result of the transformation plan.
- Be the bridge to IT and secure the successful implementation of the City Plan initiative for the Global Procurement area
- Own and drive the agenda for standardization and optimization of processes and systems across the Global Procurement function
- Supervise the development and be the ultimate owner of the Global Procurement Systems Transformation Plan
- Drive the development and be the ultimate owner of the Global Procurement Process Transformation Plan which encompass the entire Global Procurement function across all geographies and spend categories.

**Supplier Led Innovation**
- Identifying and driving strategic supplier led innovation thinking across the entire Global Procurement organization
- Communicate and implement initiatives based on supplier led innovation across Global Procurement and support category team in their areas
- Supporting the development and implementation of the 2030 Digital Transformation Roadmap through proactively bringing in external best practice to support CSLs growth ambitions

**Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)**
- Build and maintain an SRM platform across all categories
- Standardise the approach towards supplier engagement across all PLT areas within Global Procurement, including processes, templates, language etc.
- Develop and implement industry standard processes around SRM as well as drive the system support efforts for the SRM area.
- Drive the implementation of global procedures to ensure execution of sourcing activities in compliance with CSL Sourcing Policy, Code of Responsible Business Practices, and all other compliance standards.

**Supply Performance Management, including management of Key Performance Indicators**
- Build and own the continuous improvement plan for a fully automated measurement and reporting of KPIs through the entire Global Procurement function
- Prepare, gain approval and setup a KPI structure across Global Procurement
- Drive the implementation of supplier performance measurements
- Supplier Governance structure, i.e. reporting, business review meetings etc.

**Develop Talent**
- Lead, motivate and develop employees within the Procurement organization including effective long-term talent development, succession planning, and performance managing with a focus on supporting employees to meet or exceed performance expectations while demonstrating CSL Values.

**Manage Key Internal and External Stakeholders and Partners Relationships**
- Build and maintain effective professional relationships with global senior executive intern
