You will lead and manage ABB Process Automation (PA) Platform for Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) in close collaboration with business stakeholders, IS and other business functions, but you will also be responsible for overarching technical solution and will lead this technical solution towards success Our vision is to standardize and improve effectiveness of the many PLM instances, by implementing one common PLM Application Management Service (AMS) on a Single Instance-Multiple Orgs PLM platform for all PA Division and Countries. Initially we focus on standardization of the Application RUN services to a single/global platform, however soon you need to be highly involved in many new PLM BUILD Implementation projects, where Solution Architecture capabilities would be welcome, and increased scope to include R&D CAD/other related toolset. The platform is of latest and greatest technology. Your customers will be 1000s of PA employees world-wide, mainly within R&D, Operations and Product Management. You will need to facilitate the Platform governance and roadmap activities in close collaboration with senior Divisional/Functional Managers, local Country SMEs and anything between. You need to manage the vendor relations and further expand your network to ABB Group IS teams for architecture, compliance, and security collaboration. **Your responsibilities**:

- Establish relationship with multiple business partners and stakeholders, understanding their strategical, operational, and tactical needs.
- Monitor delivery of solutions/service/support in business-critical areas and ensure OLA’s/SLA’s are delivered according to business expectations.
- Proactively manage 3rd party supplier delivering the service to ABB.
- Propose and deliver actions required to improve the overall quality of the service. Review the outcome of the work provided by external partners. Manage communication to stakeholders, including news, announcements, and metrics reporting.
- Manage assigned budget effectively and deliver activities within agreed schedules and costs.
- Provides input for any change or project that has, or might have, a major impact on the platform, Implement service monitoring & metrics for service planning and increased transparency.
- Participate in new BUILD projects Solution Design, evaluation of Partner Solution Proposals and monitor that BUILD implementations are following agreed/Best Practices Solution Design.

**Your background**:

- Proven influencing, communication, and networking skills in a complex, international organization, able to communicate in English with stakeholders on all levels, from senior management, middle management to SMEs and other IT peers.
- General understanding of how engineering processes work
- Experience with PLM solutions, specifically Windchill (bonus if certificate at some level), and optionally Creo and Mentor.
- Liaison experience with other areas of service. Infrastructure: needs to have basic to medium level of understanding of cloud based infra for PLM.
- Solution architecture skills: either existing or willingness to develop: Understanding of Enterprise Architecture and capability to realize it in technical solution, to mitigate any interconnection escalations / enhancements and providing the input for potential strategical impact of designed solution. Knowledge of various operating systems and databases. Designing, modifying, and participation in testing of technical architecture. You will be working with number of different development teams that will need your guidance and supervision. Teams will be consisting of both ABB and third-party employees, with different cultural background. You will also be responsible in informing various stakeholders about any issues with implemented technical solution and to assess business impact that certain technical choices have, including process, budget, and costs.
