We are seeking a highly motivated Global Risk Engineering Technical Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our risk engineering technical standards and methods are developed, maintained, and applied consistently on a global level, aligned with the processes of our internal stakeholders.
**What you will do**- Lead the creation and revision process for the Risk Engineering Technical Standards and related assessment guidelines and tools in accordance with the principles set by the Zurich Risk Foundation.- Provide guidance to the global Technical Center Teams setting objectives related to Technical Standards & Quality and in a role as a Project Management Office, coordinating their implementation activities.- Ensure the alignment of Technical Standards with Underwriting and Claims.- Ensure deployment of Risk Engineering Technical Standards in relevant IT platforms.- Define and maintain our global technical quality assurance framework covering in-process controls and periodic individual or team reviews.-
- Manage compliance with techncial model risk governance as defined by Zurich Risk Policy Manual.- Ensure a thought leadership and knowledge management framework is in place, globally aligned and executed.
**What you bring**- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in engineering and 10 or more years of experience in related field.- Required: knowledge of risk management methodologies and insurance industry.- Positive attitude and ability to influence across countries.
