- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of External Asset Management (EAM) in Lugano, reporting to the Head EAM located in Zurich. In this role, you will lead a team of five employees and oversee our EAM operations in the region. With a focus on delivering exceptional client service and driving growth, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Switzerland, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards.

**What would your role be?**

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 employees, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear objectives and ensure team alignment with strategic goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.

**Client Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing tailored solutions that align with clients’ needs and objectives.

**Operational Oversight**:

- Oversee and optimize EAM operations in Lugano, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Drive initiatives to improve processes and deliver best-in-class services.

**Business Development**:

- Identify and pursue opportunities for growth, expanding the client base and enhancing the company’s market position.
- Collaborate with other regional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and cross-selling opportunities.

**Travel Requirements**:

- Regular travel within Switzerland to build relationships with stakeholders, clients, and team members across locations.

**What are we looking for?**
- Proven experience in External Asset Management, Wealth Management, or a similar leadership role.
- Proven competence in servicing Italian domestic clients, collaborating with Italy-based External Asset Managers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional client relationship management and advisory skills, with a deep understanding of client needs.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English; proficiency in German or French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Switzerland.
