Our client, a leading company providing active ingredients to the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemist to join their team as the Head of Process Quality Assurance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and lead the Process Quality Assurance team, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality in chemical manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement robust quality assurance strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce deviations, and optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality measures into every stage of the production lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement preventive measures to ensure the safety and quality of chemical processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance process quality and overall efficiency.
- Lead investigations into quality incidents, deviations, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Provide technical expertise in process optimization, troubleshooting, and validation activities.

**Requirements**:

- Advanced degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Process Quality Assurance, preferably in the specialty chemicals industry.
- In-depth knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong background in implementing and managing quality management systems.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards and certifications.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Located in or willing to relocate to Switzerland
