Director of Digital Marketing

We're looking for a hands-on, strategic **Director of Digital Marketing** to lead our global growth from Zurich, Switzerland and help more families and au pairs share life-changing experiences around the world.
- In this leadership role, you’ll shape how we attract, engage, and convert two core global audiences—U.S.based host families and international au pairs—while managing a high-performing digital marketing team in Zurich and collaborating with colleagues across the US, Europe, Latin America, and South Africa. You'll combine strategic planning with hands-on leadership to connect data, creativity, and performance—and drive measurable growth at scale. You will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

- Key Responsibilities
- Shape and drive a global digital marketing vision that drives awareness, engagement, and customer conversion across both the host family and au pair audiences.
- Lead, design and deliver integrated campaigns across paid and organic channels—including search, social, display, community marketing, affiliate programs, and emerging platforms—to accelerate growth and strengthen brand impact.
- Drive the alignment of paid media strategy, brand positioning, and audience segmentation to business goals and seasonal targets.
- Manage a high-performing digital marketing team, encouraging innovation, accountability, and excellence.
- Proactively communicate digital performance and strategic priorities to senior leadership with clarity and strategic insights.
- Build a performance-driven culture through clear KPIs, test-and-learn approaches, and data-informed optimization across all campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales & Recruitment, Marketing, Creative, Marketing, and Technology to ensure digital efforts are fully aligned and integrated.
- Develop regionally tailored strategies that reflect cultural insights and behavior trends in Europe, Latin America, South Africa, and the U.S.
- Track industry trends and digital innovations to continuously refine our approach and ensure competitive advantage.
- Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with a strong track record of leading international customer acquisition and growth strategies.
- Proven leadership of multi-market campaigns, ideally across both consumer and service-oriented industries.
- Experienced team leader with a track record of developing people and building high-impact teams.
- Expertise in managing paid media platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn), analytics tools (Salesforce CRM Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical acumen and the ability to translate data into compelling action plans.
- Excellent communicator with a global mindset; able to build consensus and drive alignment across regions and time zones.
- Experience working in or marketing to international audiences and multicultural environments.
- Fluent English required; additional languages (especially German, Spanish, or French) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
