Data Manager - Strategy and Governance (w/m/d)

You will support our client hands-on in developing and providing governance in data management across the group and implement the new governance structure on a project basis in different areas of the international business.

**Your Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor's or master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics**:

- **2+ years experience in defining and implementing data strategies, with a focus on Master and Reference data domains**:

- **Familiar with Data Governance Organizations and their associated roles and responsibilities**:

- **Experienced in documenting data objects and with data modeling**:

- **Skills in analyzing data using various techniques and tools and presenting findings**:

- Strong conceptual mindset paired with good presentation and story-telling skills
- Very good communicator who can influence and motivate stakeholders to accept change
- **Fluent in English, **German, and/or French would be an advantage

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Develop/contribute to the global data governance organization and data strategy
- Document global group-wide data objects
- Develop master data management strategies, implement roadmaps, and business cases
- Understand and evaluate business processes,
- Translate business needs into information and data requirements
- Define and implement Master Data Management policies
- Design and build MDM (Master Data Management) Architecture, for instance as part of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Transformations
- Responsible for the lead of MDM projects
- Define Data Architecture guidance, support and consult Data Analytics initiatives
- Assess, design, develop, and implement Master Data Management solutions within complex system landscapes
