Lonza in Visp is looking for a Trainee (M/F/d) for our Drug product department within SGIE (Strategic Growth and Investment Engineering).

The Trainee is responsible to support the Project Managers and the Project Director for the execution of large investment projects (Dolphin project in Stein) throughout the implementation of the project. That is, from the design phases to the handover of the installations to the users.

The role of this person is to put in place and maintain strong structures (e.g. organization, decision, communication, documentation flows, in accordance with project management, in order to respect Project management Processes and increase Project Team efficiency.

She/he will be also responsible for specific tasks of the project (e.g. small package of equipment, workshops responsibilities, reporting to management) to support Project Manager or Team.

She/he will also act as an active support for the CQV activities during the CQV phases of the project.

During two years the Trainee will gain a broad perspective within SGIE. The assignment of responsibilities and projects depends on current business needs and on the Trainee’s skills and interests.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for internal coordination project tasks in order to relieve CAPEX project manager workload
- Participate and support in coordinating, issuing project related general and engineering documents, reports and presentations
- Co-ordination and follow up with external contractors for engineering activities and deliverables (like List of deliverables, line list, equipment list and timely issue of deliverables)
- Organizing various project trainings for internal and external contractors and maintaining training records if required
- Develop and maintain
- Organize internal as well as external workshops (technical, scheduling coordination, ) and support team members to establish agendas, meeting minutes, actions lists etc
- Support Commissioning activities (co-ordination of walkdowns, follow-up of punch lists, support and follow-up CQV activities

Key requirements:

- Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc. or equivalent in engineering or project management
- Technical knowledge in chemical and / or pharmaceutical engineering is a plus
- Interdisciplinary knowledge
- Experience in share point or web site management
- First experience in cGMP environment is a plus
