For our client, an industrial company based near Geneva, we a searching for a:
Head of Human Resources

As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of HR functions within the company.

You will play a critical role in developing and executing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives. You will also lead a team of HR professionals and collaborate with various departments to ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives and practices in order to enable the business.

Main responsibilities:

- HR Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Plan and forecast HR needs, ensuring the organization has the required talent and workforce to achieve business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to enhance HR effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Talent Acquisition:

- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Payroll

Oversee Swiss Payroll.
- Benefits and compensation
- Responsible for the salary policy and manage the bonus/variable remuneration systems. (Switzerland and small entities). Management and supervision of annual salary increase processes for all entities and direct management of the process for Geneva incl. salary negotiations with staff representation
- Conduct regular market research to ensure the company's compensation packages remain competitive.
- Talent Management
- Develop and implement performance management systems and processes to drive a high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluation, goal setting, and development plans.
- Coordinate employee performance reviews, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
- Identify training and development needs within the organization.
- Develop and implement employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate leadership development /management training initiatives and succession planning.
- Policies, process and tools
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Promote and support roll-out of new tools (ie SIRH) whenever needed.
- Employee engagement
- Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Lead employee communication efforts, ensuring effective dissemination of company policies, news, and updates.
- Health and safety
- Oversee and manage the Health and Safety HR Audit (Iris & ISO)
- Event
- Oversee Event Management

Profile:

- Bachelor, Master’s degree or Brevet in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Proven experience as an HR leader, ideally 10-15 years, preferably in the manufacturing sector
- Proven experience managing a small team.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software and systems.
- Fluency in French and English (C2 level).
