Product Owner

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified person in Zürich to take end-to-end technical ownership for the CCA product (Customer Centric Analytics), which is the marketing stream of the global Sika Data Platform, called Mercury.
- Take responsibility for the design, development, and maintenance of data integration processes and ETL pipelines to ensure smooth data flows for CCA
- Working closely with internal business stakeholders from different marketing departments for capturing requirements and turning them into backlog items for the next releases
- Technical supervision and budget control with external partners for CCA
- Make sure that already implemented 10+ data sources and overall Azure Databricks for CCA is stable, ensure performance and high availability for the end-user
- Elaborate and maintain a clear technical product roadmap for CCA in close alignment with the Mercury Platform
- Support the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI in the conjunction of CCA
- Advocate for the adoption of a unified data platform and analytics approach to replace ad-hoc data gathering and analytics by business stakeholders.
- Provide support with architecture, configuration, administration, and functionality to enhance capabilities within the Sika Data Platform (Mercury) and Analytics tool.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of databases (Data-lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage) and the analytics product CCA, offering recommendations for improvements.
- Design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions that enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Implement and maintain data security measures, including access controls and encryption, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Masters's degree in computer science, management information systems, data science, or relevant work experience as a substitute for degree
- Extensive experience (2 years+) in the Data Engineering and Analytics domain using state of the art tools like Datalake, Snowflake, Azure Databricks. SQL, PowerBI, etc.
- Practical experience with data warehouses, data lakes, graphs, and cloud architecture, including usage of Hyperscaler-Services.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management, with experience in database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to create engaging and informative reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and experience with compliance regulations along with the ability to implement security measures to protect data assets.
- Experience with data aggregation and data science including collaboration with domain experts.
- High degree of independence, initiative, flexibility, sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
