**Pictet Asset Management **(Pictet AM) manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and dedication to client service.

We are seeking to recruit a **Client Portfolio Manager** to work within our Thematic Equities team. Our team has grown very rapidly over the last years in terms of assets, strategies and number of clients. To sustain such growth, we are looking for an individual with thematic expertise and knowledge of the equity market to communicate our passion of Tech investing to our global client base.

**Your role**:

- Representing thematic investment teams to clients globally.
- Presenting the investment theme value proposition and its positioning.
- Communicating with media and writing thought-leadership pieces in the environmental equity space.
- Acting as a link between investment teams and the rest of the organisation (e.g. Sales, Marketing, RFP and Reporting), providing updates through the available communication channels.
- Helping to improve and coordinate our environmental-impact frameworks and models, our engagement with corporates and ESG materiality matrixes.
- Actively contributing at investment meetings.
- Keeping track of the competitors’ offering and performing comparative analyses.
- Helping set the agenda and contributing to our thematic advisory boards.
- Helping to develop new thematic ideas and improving existing ones.
- Working with the sales teams, investment teams and back and middle offices to respond promptly to requests for data and/or presentation materials.
- Assisting with the production of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual product updates.

**Your profile**:

- Highly self-motivated and independent, able to multitask and work under pressure at the last minute and willing to travel regularly and globally.
- Graduate degree-level education in Environmental Sciences (preferably in areas such as biology, biodiversity ecosystems) and some working experience in the environmental sector.
- Passionate about environmental processes and with the drive to keep up to date with the latest developments.
- Work experience in equity investing (e.g. experience as equity analyst, PM, Risk Manager), CFA or willingness to acquire it.
- Keen interest in environmental equities, ESG integration and corporate engagement.
- Impeccable written communication and public-speaking skills in English (native or equivalent) and preferably another two languages (e.g. Mandarin, Italian or Spanish).
- Excellent interpersonal skills (able to ‘read’ clients and connect), team player.
- Affinity to develop impactful presentations (flow, content and design).
- Position based in Geneva. Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
