As Head of Site Communications for CSL’s Bern manufacturing site and is responsible for overseeing all local communications as well as the pull-through of corporate communications to local colleagues.

You will be part of the Site Leadership Team and work closely with the Site Head. You will be relied on to provide strategic communication advice and also ensure tactical execution.

In addition to local communication responsibilities, you will provide communications support to CSL’s InterContinental Commercial Operations organization. This includes providing support for key initiatives, organizational changes, and serving as the Communications Business Partner for InterContinental Commercial Operations leaders.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Manage Corporate Affairs and Communications for the site to support business objectives
- Collaborate with business leaders, including the Site Head and Site Leadership Team, on development and implementation of external, digital and internal communications strategies and tactics
- Oversee a wide range of areas, including media relations, brand management, community engagement, digital and internal communications. Change communications experience is also desirable
- Manage corporate messaging and ensure communications are aligned with the company’s global brand positioning
- Develop and execute internal and external communications to ensure understanding, engagement and Company reputation
- May also be responsible for strategic communications and special events
- In addition, you will serve as the Communications Business Partner for the CSL InterContinental Commercial Operations organization, providing support for a variety of communications, including internal and external needs, issues management and digital/social

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or closely related field
- 7+ years of experience in communications, ideally in a corporate setting
- Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience desirable
- Excellent writing, editing and creative skills with a knack for storytelling
- Comfortable in using social media and digital tools
- Fluent in German and English is mandatory
