The Workflow Manager Viral Vector Solutions, will support the development of a comprehensive Viral Vector offering, focusing on enabling workflows for various viral vectors across scales, from research to manufacturing. This role will collaborate with commercial teams, product marketing, product management, and R&D to drive both short-term and long-term business goals. Additionally, this position will evaluate the existing portfolio and develop organic and inorganic strategies to expand and drive incremental growth.
This position reports to the Sr. Director Viral Vector Product Management and is part of the Viral Vector Business Unit. The role will be an on-site role.
**What you will do**:
- Demonstrate cross-functional leadership to execute the vision and strategy of the complete viral vector product portfolio. Support the annual strategy cycle and lead the strategy enablement program.
- Work closely with R&D, Fast Track and Cross Opco Product Management resources to define product requirements for new product development and improvements on existing products.
- Partner with Marketing to develop and maintain our process maps, ensure delivery of sales training, sales enablement tools and customer materials to enable optimal positioning of the portfolio. You will monitor external competitor offerings and support formulation of competitive response.
- Identify market trends and opportunities in the viral vector landscape. Support external evaluation, open innovation and potential internal and external collaborations to enable a complete product offering.
**Who you are**:
- Domain expert with a Master’s or PhD (preferable) and MBA (preferable) with relevant experience with Viral Vector workflows.
- Experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or Product Development, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management.
- Team oriented with the ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams and proven ability to work globally.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, business acumen, learning agility, network leadership, and passion for continuous improvement
**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**:
- Ability to travel - 20%
