**Job Purpose**
As Group Master Data Governance Manager, you are part of an expert team responsible for data's accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness and validity. We enable our organization to ensure that high data quality exists throughout the complete lifecycle of the data, and data controls are implemented to support business and growth objectives. With a central team responsible for Master Data, we secure that we face complexity together as a group, have the data we need to perform, and transform our tools to manage much more, much better, and much faster.

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Implement the master data governance framework, with a focus on improving data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to behaviors, policies, standards, principles, metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.
- Influence key business partners to build consensus, make decisions, and execute plans to implement and support master data standards.
- Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined and communicated.
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
- In conjunction with the IT, provide progress reports to Board management and oversee periodic updates to the Department Data Governance Roadmap.

**Profile**
Education
- Professional education with technical or natural scientific graduate degree.
- Fluent (written and spoken) English, further languages spoken at subsidiaries are an advantage.

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years, professional experience in SAP Master Data Management, preferably in medical device industry with a group structured process.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP SD/MM module and the related business processes (sales, production, purchasing, materials management).
- Sourcing and/or Purchasing experience in procurement
- Comprehensive experience with data base management and analytics.
- Experience with processes in a global, mulibrand corporation is a strong advantage.
