**Your role - what you will do with us**:
As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in driving Xelon's growth - by acquiring new customers in the target segment and through targeted further development of existing accounts. Your main tasks include:

- Pipeline management: You take over qualified leads from BDR/Marketing and guide them independently through the entire sales cycle - from initial contact to closing.
- Outreach: You also identify your own sales opportunities in the market and work on them proactively - independently of assigned leads.
- Existing customer management: You are responsible for looking after assigned existing customers (accounts) and continuously developing them - through cross-selling and upselling as well as regular touchpoints.
- Consultative Selling: You are a trusted advisor and guide our customers through our offering, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions.
- Close collaboration with the founding team: You are an important part of the transition from Founder Sales to a structured sales team, and develop this process closely with the management team.
- Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with the Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams to align customer needs with our services
- Market intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, competitive activity and new technologies to ensure Xelon stays ahead of the curve.

**Goals & KPIs**:
**Performance**: Your performance is measured by new customer sales, growth of existing accounts and the churn rate of your accounts.
**Active co-creation**: You work with a high level of personal responsibility and actively help shape how we further develop sales processes and culture.
What we expect from you
- Experience in full-stack sales: At least 2 years of experience in a closing role in a tech environment - ideally mid-market.
- Results orientated mindset: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- A strong network: You already have good contacts in the Swiss tech sector or the motivation to build up this network quickly.
- Start-up affinity: You feel comfortable in an environment where quick decisions are required and you are actively involved in shaping structures.
- Technical understanding: You have a good understanding of IaaS/PaaS - and can communicate its benefits at both management and technical level.
- A feel for processes: You contribute ideas on how we can further optimise our sales and marketing processes.
- Ambition and grit: You have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive things forward independently.
- German and English: You communicate fluently in German and have a very good command of English in order to work with international colleagues and customers.
