Workshop Assistant

Swiss based Dufour Aerospace is developing an eVTOL platform based on tilt-wing technology to make future manned and unmanned electric and hybrid electric aircraft a reality. Dufour’s prototypes have already flown many hundreds of flights - both manned and unmanned. The combination of VTOL operation, aircraft design and software development expertise puts Dufour Aerospace at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility.

Dufour is looking for an enthusiastic, adaptive and practical-minded person to support us as a Workshop Assistant, 10 to 15 hours per week at an hourly rate. This job would be suitable for an interested gymnasium student or similar.

Tasks

Your tasks will mainly include
- General support of our workshop team
- Assistance in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of our 3D printing farm
- Independent assembly of various 3D printed parts (mainly small models of our tilt-wing aircraft), including surface treatment and painting.

**Requirements**:
Required
- Ability to work independently
- Good technical understanding
- Very good command of English

Desired
- Initial experience with 3D printing or CAD programs
- Experience in RC model building
