**About the Team**

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team at Swiss Re seeks to help our people make the world more resilient. To do this sustainably, we need passionate people from all backgrounds. This will build and support a diverse ecosystem so that our workplace reflects the world we see around us. As Global DEI Programme Manager you will be part of our agile global and regional DEI team.

**About the Role**

This is a new role which reports to the Chief Diversity Officer. In this role you will have primary responsibility for the governance, tracking and reporting of our activities to improve the lived experience of all our colleagues and improve our Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive environment. You will collaborate with key partners across the business, as well as across regional and global communities, to ensure all DEI activities are prioritized and aligned to the DEI Strategy. Your main tasks include:

- Establishing and implementing a process to prioritize and assess DEI activities based on strategic fit and impact.
- Working with local and regional Councils and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to align and prioritise DEI activities and budget needs to increase impact.
- Supervising our larger DEI programs by proactively coordinating, steering and reporting on all activities and milestones
- Assessing DEI activities based on their impact as well as coordinating the selection and submission of overarching DEI benchmarkings and surveys.
- Contributing to the design and continuous development of our DEI governance framework, including review of internal policies and guidelines from a DEI perspective
- Ensuring the fulfillment of data governance and compliance requirements by working with e.g. Legal on DEI data collection and data sharing issues
- Acting as the process manager for the Global DEI Council (working with stakeholders to set the agenda, collecting pre-read submissions, preparing minutes and coordinating follow-up actions as needed)

**About You**
- Are you a true team player? This role requires close collaboration and interaction with many colleagues and partners in many countries and cultures
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, cross-cultural experience, problem solving and project management skills. Are you are also digitally savvy and used to managing data to tell a story?
- You are able to design, implement and refine processes for efficiency and effectiveness as well as communicating the same accurately and consistently
- You possess a strong commercial focus and a business oriented attitude
- You enjoy working in a constantly evolving environment and embrace the unknown
- You have a degree (Master's Degree or equivalent) ideally with a major in one of the following fields: Organizational Development, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business Management, Engineering or Human Resources
