**International Medical Affairs Manager**

Our client is a pioneer in Drug Discovery and Development and one of the frontrunners in Personalised Healthcare. As the world's largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally. We are looking for an **International Medical Affairs Manager **for a **12 month contract** to be based in the Rotkreuz area.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement the Medical Activities aspects of Medical Plans, participate in Medical Activities in existing and ad hoc tactical plans for products;
- Participate defining the strategy and driving medical activities in the department;
- Drive activities and collaborations with KOLs and vendors, focus on managing and improving partnerships via best practices and functional expertise;
- Participate in and steer activities at congresses, satellite symposia, and KOL engagement events;
- Participate in activities in Advisory Boards;
- Oversee of Independent Medical Education activities, and review medical content and materials;
- Ensuring compliance in interactions with HCPs, KOLs, business partners and other.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
- MD/ PhD degree in a scientific medical field (infection and immunity fields are preferred);
- Min. 4 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development or within medical (scientific) communications, experience working in an international matrix organization is a plus;
- 2+ years of experience in the area of infectious diseases of inflammatory diseases is preferred;
- Experience with or understanding of diagnostic products is a plus.
