Join us at Qualitest- We are looking for Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team in Switzerland.- Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize queries in SQL for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Perform data aggregation and transformation tasks, merging data from multiple tables into designated tables for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functionally to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the data warehouse
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
- Write new and support existing complex data pipelines
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data engineering.
- Qualifications:
- Required:
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
- Solid experience with optimization of SQL queries both at modeling and execution levels
- Experience in writing and supporting data pipelines in python, (airflow, luigi or similar)
- Strong experience in debugging data related issues
- Preferred:
- Dashboarding experience,complex representation and slicing for technical and end users
- Ability to read and understand strongly typed language such as C++
- Experience with python data stack (pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
