BMS Project Manager - Data Centres - Zurich

Our client are a hugely successful project management consultancy that help global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects. They currently require a BMS Project Manager to deliver complex projects within the data centre sector.

Key Deliverables

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance design development cycles, specifications, and processes.
Manage the design development, ensuring that standards are met for each client.
Be an escalation point for technical issues in relation to design, representing the client and providing support to the Sales and Solutions Engineering, New Site Development and Construction Teams.
Lead design activities in relation to BMS
Review and approval of design documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements, engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
Provide technical engineering to ensure project requirements and industry standards are met.
Manage design, procurement, and construction processes.
Develop and implement updates to design, procurement, and construction processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the construction teams with commissioning.

Skills & Attributes

Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre design management, engineering management, or equivalent managerial positions.
Proficiency in critical cooling infrastructure and critical power infrastructure within a data centre project.
Familiarity with building and fire codes ordinances.
