How you can make a difference: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader Subledgers to manage our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. This role involves leading a diverse team comprised of two members in Switzerland and eight members in Romania, who are part of our in-house shared services team. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our financial operations and enhancing team productivity. The individual will also have GL Accounting responsibilities for one of our subsidiaries. **Responsibilities**: - Oversee the daily operations of both A/R and A/P teams, ensuring efficient transaction processing and financial management- Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures that meet company and regulatory requirements- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting- Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to facilitate integrated financial management- Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of growth and continuous improvement- Monitor team performance, providing guidance and feedback to ensure goals are met and standards are maintained- Address and resolve any issues that arise in the accounts receivable and payable processes- Responsible for all GL Accounting aspects related to one of our subsidiaries That’s what you bring along: - Higher business education (university/university of applied sciences) in accounting, finance, economics, or a comparable field of study- Several years of sound experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international company- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate and drive team performance- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite- Very good knowledge of German and English- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage a remote and culturally diverse team Learn more about career opportunities at Hamilton at jobs.hamilton.ch with the following details: Reference: JR-4135-fjs/Contact: Natascha Cadosch
