**Job Description**:
Our Forestry Services are a small team of about 15 (most freelance) auditors, working across 3 core countries (France, Switzerland, Austria) and serving both very small companies as well as international key accounts.

We are assisted by different administrative teams and work in close collaboration with other countries and regions.

Joining the team, you will act as auditor and support the Product Manager.

**CoC Lead Auditor**:

- Planning of audits based on the list of clients assigned by the Product Manager Forestry Services and audit due dates.
- Setting up of audit program and preparation of audits.
- Conducting of audits, including opening and closing. meeting and, if needed, the follow up of corrective actions.
- Completion of audit report in due time.

**C**oordination and Support of Forestry Product Management**:

- Support and deputy of Product Manager Forestry Services.
- Contact person for external and internal clients for all kind of enquiries, issues, etc.
- Technical communication to external and internal clients.
- Coordination with the different involved internal teams.
- Quality management support for the assurance that the Forestry Team of SGS Switzerland meet the KPIs.
- Setting up of proposals to existing and new clients.
- FSC Trademark approval service with qualified trademark officers.

**Qualifications**:

- At least secondary education, including or supplemented with courses related to forest and/or tree based and related industries.
- Minimum three (3) years of full-time related working experience in the forest and/or tree based and related industries.
- Fluent in English and German. Additionally, a good level of French would be an advantage.
- A background in quality assurance / quality management is an advantage, as well as the successful completion of an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 19011 course.
- Knowledge of or a qualification as CoC auditor for the relevant certification schemes (FSC®, PEFC) is an advantage.
- Experience with the European Timber Regulation (or other import and export legislation) is an advantage.
- Important personal behaviors as an auditor: ethical, open-minded, diplomatic, observant, perceptive, versatile, tenacious, decisive, self-reliant, acting with fortitude, open to improvement, culturally sensitive and collaborative.
- Willingness to travel 30%.
