**What you will do**

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join Johnson Controls as Supply Chain Manager to assist with purchasing activities and supporting buyers in order to improve process and create savings along with developing suppliers and resources

**How you will do it**

You will be responsible for the leadership of the purchasing team of two employees; including employee promotion and development as well as duties including:

- Identification of potential and management of existing suppliers in line with European and local initiatives; including reviewing existing practices to increase benefits
- Planning, control and organization of purchasing activities in project business and development of measures to evaluate supplier performance
- Development of a supplier base in coordination with management and category management according to optimal (regional) conditions
- Conducting (re)negotiations according to internal guidelines
- Represent a modern, credible and coherent focus along supply chain management
- Support for the introduction of new ERP purchasing modules in the company
- Administrative purchase processing

**What we look for**

Are you able to demonstrate the following?
- Relevant educational background in procurement or supply chain
- Management experience in a similar role
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills and a resilient personality
- Experience in the field of technical building systems
- Fluency in German and English, French desirable
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs
