**About the Department / Team**:
The Business Management function is designed to help drive growth in wealth management by implementing a sales process that brings the full capabilities of the DB Group to the benefit of our clients incorporating investment content, client analytics and prospecting activity.

The Business Manager is the ‘go-to’ person for Sub-Market Heads on multiple topics and is in charge of the sales operating rhythm. He / she should follow a standardized sales process and framework defined across EMEA including; weekly reporting, pipeline management, prospect list management, team meetings, sales meetings and the production of standard reports.

During the internship you will interact with numerous departments and acquire more visibility on the overall functioning of a bank and, specifically, of a Wealth Management business line. You will be exposed to senior management requests and delivery and get a better understanding of the kind of information and level of detail required to run such a business. You will learn to work under pressure and develop a flexible approach to prioritize tasks according to an ever changing agenda.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Management:

- Provide any support required by the Sub-Market Heads in terms of financials, book screening or strategic analysis
- Support Sub-Market Heads in the production of required updates for the respective management and strategy meetings

Sales planning:

- Support Sub-Market Heads in defining their sales activity ambitions to meet the given revenue / NNA / New Client targets and monitor sales activity metrics to ensure progress towards KPI ambitions
- Contribute to ensure a proper sales planning and end of year book review to ensure objectives are split across desks, teams and individuals in a SMART manner
- Provide regular tracking to assess the performance of the respective desks, teams and individuals throughout the year, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis

Prospecting activity management:

- Focus on new account funding and prospecting efforts for the region
- Follow-up on market purity cases and ensure coordination to facilitate this process

Products:

- Work in close collaboration with Coverage, Investment Managers and Global Products and Services to drive content across Coverage and clients
- Raise awareness to Coverage about any new product launches, timeline for subscriptions and availability of client-friendly documentation
- Support identification and delivery of sales and product training to Coverage when needed

Financials:

- :Provide any detailed analysis with the support of Finance functions to analyze the current status versus targets, future achievements and forecasts
- Run data driven sales initiatives to drive penetration, revenue and asset growth
- Collaborate with Coverage, Investment Managers and Global Products and Services on targeted book screening that is revenue and NNA accretive (unused credit limits, deposit positions, cash positions etc)

**Background and skills**:

- Degree in Economics or Business Administration (Bachelor / Masters)
- Previous experience / exposure to banking environment would be a plus
- Strong will to learn and develop knowledge of the wealth management industry
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must
- Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to quickly establish contact with others to build successful partnerships
- Entrepreneurial mind-set and demonstrable analytical thinking
- Proactive and willing to take ownership for small projects
- Fluency in English and French is required, knowledge of Arabic would be a plus
